Top of the Pops is to return to the BBC over the Christmas period - despite earlier promises it would not be brought back. There will be a Top of the Pops Christmas Special and Top of the Pops New Year's Eve Special.

Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie are to be divorced at the High Court in London on Friday, according to court lists. A notice of the couple's decree nisi will be posted at the Registry of the Family Division.

The King of Bahrain's son is suing Michael Jackson for £4.7m for reneging on a music contract, which would have paid back the loans he gave the star. Michael contests the claim, saying that the payments were "gifts".
